Ride coordination help
Creating and joining rides
Ride organizers can create a ride, set the ride time, add meeting point information, and share an invite code with riders. Riders can use the invite code to join the ride and review the ride details.
Routes and GPX files
When a ride includes a GPX route, riders can use it to understand the planned route and prepare their cycling devices or route apps before the ride.
Check-in and ride status
Meeting-point check-in helps the group understand who is ready before departure. Ride status updates may include joining, check-in, leaving, and other ride-related changes.
Account and SMS verification
RideVox SMS messages are used only for account verification and security purposes. If you do not receive a verification code, check that the phone number is correct, wait a short time before requesting another code, and make sure your carrier can receive international or app verification messages.
Where SMS replies are supported, reply STOP to stop receiving verification messages and HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Location sharing
RideVox uses location information for ride-related features such as meeting-point check-in, location-aware reminders, and future ride coordination features. You can control app location permission in your phone system settings.
FAQ
Do I need an invite code to join a ride?
Yes. RideVox rides are designed around organizer-shared invite codes so the right riders join the right ride.
Why does RideVox ask for my phone number?
RideVox uses phone numbers for account verification, login, security checks, and account recovery. We do not use verification SMS for marketing messages.
Can other people always see my location?
No. Location use is limited to ride-related features and depends on your app and system permission settings. See the Location Sharing page for more detail.
What should I include when contacting support?
Include your question, the approximate time of the issue, your device model, app version if available, and screenshots when they help explain the problem.
