RideVox uses location information only for ride-related features after you join a ride, such as meeting point check-in, check-in range reminders, ride coordination, and voice broadcast features.
When location is used
Location is used when RideVox needs to determine whether you are near a ride meeting point, whether check-in is available, or whether ride coordination features need current ride context. RideVox does not make your location visible to people outside the relevant ride.
Who can see ride location information
Ride location information is limited to the current ride experience. Members and observers in the same ride may see ride-related status or location information according to product rules. People outside the ride cannot view your ride location through RideVox.
When sharing stops
Location sharing for a ride stops when the ride ends, when you leave the ride, or when you are removed from the ride. RideVox does not provide a long-term public location history for other users to inspect.
Your controls
You can control RideVox location permission in your phone system settings. If location permission is turned off, check-in reminders, automatic check-in range detection, and other location-based ride features may not work normally.
